1/3 The summer is early in Paris this year. It has arrived in three exhibits on rue de Turenne.
At Maria Lund, Danish Photographer Nicolai Howalt captures the sun in his camera obscura, creating impressions of luminous intensity and an upside-down cityscape. The various shades, soothing and hypnotic, are filtered through lenses borrowed from a 19th century pioneer who used the sun to cure skin disease.
