While the Rodin Museum is being renovated, an exhibit shows all the stages normally hidden in the reserves : here, Rodin’s clay and plaster models for the #Balzac monument.
It is reassuring to see the genius fumble, the messes of clay reminiscent of #ursfischer and bearing the trace of his thumb, the pentimenti and the unglamorous plasters…
