In his paintings or sculptures, Hervé Télémaque tells stories. The Haitian-born Parisian, educated in New York, mixes art historical and autobiographical references, bold flat colors and objects from ordinary life, fun titles, literary and political sources… I’ll probably have to break my rule of one exhibit, one picture to convey the immediacy and complexity of his mythologies!
