Pierette Bloch’s drawings are just lines, dots or swirls that keep the trace of a gesture – made with Indian Ink, charcoal, pastel, or chalk.
In front of the pure and peaceful result, one has to imagine the 70 year old artist scribbling like a 4 year old – an exploratory, soothing, gratuitous activity. And so are the drawings, soothing, peaceful, alive.
