And as soon as I leave Paris, I start missing it! I discover too late that La Maison d’Amérique Latine is showing 50 photographs of Cuban artist Marta-Maria Pérez Bravo, until tomorrow. Like artist , she uses images of a nude body (not her own) to explore religious rituals and popular beliefs that are alive in South America. Unlike the works of her compatriot, the body is not active but rather an anonymous and poetic material, engaged in timeless indecipherable rituals. Regretfully edited for IG.
