Fresh eyes are needed for this exhibit!
‘Beauté Congo’, at Fondation Cartier is probably one of the best shows in Paris now. Not only because it presents 90 years of #africanart, and media that range from b&w photography to models of imaginary cities.
Even more interesting is how it shows the emergence of contemporary art in a developing country : artists by accident sometimes, but artists by necessity.
