The amount of work was perfect, allowing time to explore on my own yet demanding enough of me – Danielle Deslisle, Law, Roger Williams University.
Transcripts for the Language class are issued by the Cours de Civilisation Française de la Sorbonne. La Sorbonne’s transcripts are accepted by most US institutions.
Credits for the other courses depend on the transfer policy of the students’ home universities. We will assist you in your negotiations with your study abroad offices and academic advisors to receive credits for the classes taken at PSAC.
While PSAC assures that student workloads are sufficient to justify the transfer of credits, each student is responsible for knowing the transfer policy of their home university.
Students generally take four courses per semester, each course carrying a credit recommendation for a full semester. Grades are recorded on students’ transcripts exactly as they appear on the evaluation forms completed by professors (French number grades or their conversion into equivalent letter grades).
Before enrolling with PSAC, you must notify your home institution’s study abroad office or advisor of your intentions to study abroad and also provide them with a copy of your application.
After completion of the program, bring back all course work from your stay to your academic advisor (notes, tests, quizzes, syllabi of language and art history classes, portfolio of art works).
